just got it, listening to it as i write this.
so far so good
i paid $5 which i guess is reasonable instead of illegally downloading it (which i would never do)
I paid 5..though with their set up you can just get it for free anyway after you tell them how much..odd. maybe its a legal workaround since everything on the album is copyrighted material?
good call alrightok, i didnt even think of that
i just assume so many just download for free anyways atleast now they know people are getting a legit version of the cd, and you can track the downloads, good publicity too

its a sign reilly, give it a listen
I once illegally download a cd when it was available for free. I had no idea about it being free at the time.
Its true. This is the only I have ever heard that includes samples from Avril Lavine, ODB, Wu Tang Clan, Kelly Clarkson, Of Montreal, Usher, The Police, Busta Rhymes, Michael Buble and like a hundred others.
so i was just told (not sure if its true) that if you spend $10 they send you the actual CD in the mail
i guess it doesnt matter because the CD would probably just take up space, but it would have been cool to have i guess
way more cohesive structures and waaay more fun indie songs that youll be more excited about hearing mashed up together. oh man, just checking out E-603 right now, wolf parade, clipse, and postal service. soo catchy.
oh and both of them have their albums up for free, getting the new THI mixtape now

This is neat.

Ive never seen it done before but its a pretty good way to counteract people getting your music completely for free.
At least now even if they give you a dollar for it, thats $1 more than you had before!

Im liking it so far. I paid $13 so I could get a hard copy once it comes out, and get the continuous mix. Im stoked either way.

Matt Rupp said 5 months ago
Yeah I didnt realize that they did that until I just read about it.
I was sent In Rainbows from a friend about a week before they did the whole digital "leak" online so I never had to go further to get it.
I saw them last month in Charlotte.
Probably the best live performance I have ever seen in my life.
I even bought a $40 W.A.S.T.E. shirt.
