I watched the first one, sounds like an anti government propaganda wacko conspiracy theory to me. Of course the goverment has agendas that we don’t know about, but I certainly don’t believe that they want schools to keep children 'stupid, distracted and naive' to fuel their scheme to take over the world. Where would that get their country 20 years from now?
Of course some schools don’t teach critical thinking properly, but the government hasn’t masterminded that, they’re just shit schools. Many of them want to teach Creationism as science for fuck’s sake.
Just because it’s on CNN doesn’t make it true. We all need to use some of that critical thinking that our schools are apparently not teaching us.
Sorry for the rant, it’s not directed at you, but at the pseudo-documentarians who make these emotionally driven, conspiratorial pieces of inaneness.

this jumps halfway in, but these zietgeist movies are actually pretty good. Take the information with a grain of salt, but there’s nothing wrong with media that encourages people to question their government. I think if you had to deal with the traditional streams of media here in the states on a constant basis, you’d welcome a different perspective too.

Q.E.D. Question Everything Done. George Washington said something along the lines that every goverment benifits from a good overthrowing once in a while- revolt is healthy for society. The longer you leave it the more lazy the people become and the more sly the goverment become. Did you guys ever find out why your goverment was drugging the water out there? or did you accept what bushypants said and just move on? I love the French- they just look for reasons to riot against their goverment- i like that.
I’m no extremist and am not militant at all but I think history shows that in order to get our government under control their will need to be a bloody revolution. At first all members of the revolution will be labeled as terrorists but after all is said and done, the history book will refer to them as patriots.

i think you’re being a little quick to judge, you watched 10 minutes of probably the most speculative part of the whole movie.
There’s some good stuff in there, ooh, like when they link g.w’s grandpappy to us funding of the nazi party, that one was a humdinger

Basically just Brave New World illustrated in real life terms very very quickly.
It’s great the George Bush signed that thing, if he did. But not like it matters. One of great things about our government is that the President does not have the final say. The "North American Union" isn’t realistic and the creation of one universal currency would cause major blows to central american and carribbean economies since they are no where near America or Canada.
