you jokin? the chick head was alright. looks like shes looking at something. maybe you can incorporate the dino head as the object shes looking at? fill the tshirt canvas more than just a central main image.
another rediswhite? this one looks like a winner. dig the tattoo style.
what program? if ps and you know how to use paths, you can get some pretty interesting fast linework clean..

i would take a new layer and go ahead and block out more of you shadows so you can have a better compositional weight and direction. knaw mean? just take a new layer, reduce to 30-40 and take your brush and block out sections are black, and put some contrasting shadow shapes to enhance individual elements and how they will stand out.

I’m using Manga Studio. It’s probably going to end up with that super heavy detailed shading like my dino design. Man i love giant lizard type things.
I have the original design underneath at about 40% opacity to help with the shading.
and i know that stroke path/simulate pressure technique from when i learned how to do glowing lines of power effects. I use it allllll the time actually.

I still need to give him some spikes and shit, but it’s mostly there. This is my Chupacabra. I started drawing him way differently, but decided to go with the mainstream ideals of what he looks like, or atleast more mainstream than I had been going with him.
Thoughts? Criticism? I’m open to interpretation.

quick paintover.
your muscle lines could use a tweak. break up the lines thickness to hint at light source. most of the lines i thickened as if the light were coming from top left. dont be afraid to also push really thick lines where there would be shadows... well... depending on how you want the image to look. in general you could balance the overabundance of rounded lines with a smidge of straight line here and there.

I definitely see what you’re saying dude. I’m always caught between wanting to accurately reflect my light source, and wanting it to have a strong silhouette. If that makes any sense.
I draw it on paper and shade it before I ever think about ink/lines.

Top one is just a Study of Mr. Davis’s Style I’ve filled about 15 pages of sketch book in the last 2 hours just fooling around trying to loosen up and not be so anal about my details - markers on vellum.
