100 mpg goodness

With gas prices rising as the sun every morn', a newmoped is looking more and more attractive. I might invest in a new (vintage) one for the summer. Any of you beautiful people rock mopeds//scooters?

   My roommate had an old one. I tried to take it out one day, but couldn’t turn it because my legs are too long. Hopefully you’re short enough.

   You and me both. I was so glad to sell that thing. It was my wifes first car and I used it as a work vehicle for several years. So embarrassing to be seen in that thing.

    Idk about the towns you all live in but noone really ever rode scooters here yet this summer I’ve seen atleast 15 people cruising around town on them. They’re quite fun to ride.

    haha nice car, I have a 66 mustang that destroys gas. So I never get to drive it. So I drive my pickup for everything, it sucks but works. I want to get a bike though.. would love it.

    Yeah, but pretty large frames. I’m 6'4 and leggy. I’ll just roll the gas guzzler or bike.

    I have a regular car (07 cobalt) but get 40+ mph on the highway and 33+ in the city. Everyone around here (South Texas) drives big pickups. Sucks for them.

    funny story

    i was in costa rica riding a vespa at 2 o’clock in the morning wearing nothing but flip flops and a swim suit 3 sheets to the wind plastered and ate shit going 40 and fucked my legs and the vespa up so bad wound up costing me $3.10 to fix like $200 dollars worth of damage lol

    so i dont ride vespas any more lol

    The mileage I get now is in the teens I think. I haven’t had the car long enough to really test it out. It’s about to get worse, though. I have a bored out 350 waiting for it. Haha

    I live less than 10 miles from my place of work, so it doesn’t really hurt me that badly. lol

    haha nice, My car is at my parents right now, I used to drive it when I could, wasted a lot of money on gas just to have fun, but the times were worth it. I put a 351w in mine, it wasnt built for that big so we had to do a lot of adjustments to the car. how long have you had yours?

    And my gas guage has been broken for a long time, but I assume I get like 10-13 if im lucky. but dont quote me on that.

    beautiful car, and i get around 23mpg, so its not terrible...but gas is over $4 consistently now.

    That’s not my actual moped, just a picture I found through google. But it looks exactly the same, just have to fix the gas leak now haha.

    For about 300 bones you can buy an island hopper. Its essentially a weed whacker motor that hooks up to the back tire of any bicycle.
