this was one of the funniest movies i have EVER seen. so many goddamn LOL moments i cant even begin to remember. the guy in front of us was by himself and was howling with laughter the whole movie which then became contagious.
i dont know what i thought of it, i definitely laughed a lot... but the whole microphone at the top of the screen thing threw me off... but it was funny as hell at times.

that was your theatres fault for not running it in scope instead of flat. it happens alot.
then that midget on the stilts who ran out signing, "one by one the ants go marching". I thought he was going to kill everyone with his mystical sword of destiny until the terradactyl swooped down and plucked him from the orchard. Thus leaving the world to be over run by ink bees hopped up on acid controlled by dr. satan from house of a 1,000 corpses.
i havent seen it yet, but with how he twists his movies I figure anything that leaves you going "what the fuck,... that was stupid" is possible.
i actually enjoyed the movie. when it was over, the group of 17-19 year old guys that were sitting next to us (farting and laughing the whole time) were all like, "that was fucking stupid. i want my fucking money back. blah blah blah."
its definitely different, but all of m. night shamalamalamas movies are different. you either get them or you dont.
It seemed like the movie was made in the wrong generation. Black and white and in the 50's may have been more suitable. Maybe thats what he was going for, idk.

lame all the ads I see on the tv are all m nights first rated R movie ever ever. Maybe they ment the pirates that made the version Im going to watch for free.
It was quasi entertaining. The best part was the random crazy old lady. He should make a movie about her. I would wait till it comes out on video to see, not worth the ticket price.
Warning, may contain spoilers!heres what ive got from multiple viewings ( understand that i dont pay for movies, working in a theatre and all )
The old lady, to me represented the final appearance of " mother nature " she let them in, took care of them, but was very defensive and took action when she felt in danger. I dont per se think it was plants as much as the planet itself as the bad guy, seeing as how the wind was a major " plot point "
the preggor test scene for me, was showing " rebuilding " or a chance to start over new.
the only real shocker to me was the scene with the shotgun and the two kids. that did startle me the first time.
overall, i felt like it was missing something.
would the world really go back to normal after something like this like the movie seems to show?
6/10
liked the part when the guy mowed himself lol
the idea was a little corny but m night is a bad ass

Cellular was the worst film about phone related incidents Ive ever seen :)
I think there is a Stephen King book that was going to be made into a movie b y Eli Roth about cell phones turning people into zombies... or something. As far as this movie goes... Hes done way better, and of course you cant really do worse than Signs... but thats just me.
just watched it twice, as I though I missed something...I didnt miss anything, nothing happened in the entire film, apart from whooo scarry wind. No drama, action, horror, plot or anything that would be worth watching.
He out did himsle, even shiter than Signs and that was shit.
Warning, may contain spoilers!Any one pick up on the mood ring?... I am sure that had some deeper meaning, M Night likes to do shit like that, very similar to the Sixth sense with the color red... ah i need the dvd commentary now!

its called CELL, and its awesome and brutal. M. Night has always been hit or miss with me. Unbreakable was amazing, sixth sense sucked, The Village was alright, Signs was mediocre almost to the point of suck, Lady in the Water is one of the best fantasy films ive ever seen and i have yet to see the happening. on my list of DL for the day.
OMG, this movie was sooooo bad. It was almost like M.Knight said "Hey, you think my other movies are bad? Well Ill show you what a REALLY bad movie is!" Holy shite the acting was bad, the dialog was bad, the story was bad. There was no reveal... it was just one note through the whole thing.
You have to follow what is "happening". You have to let it draw you in. If you focus on the comedy in the way people are dying, and you think of it as sucking - youre going to hate it.

i found it pretty insulting. i felt like i was basically duped into paying $10 to watch an hour and a half long environmental protection commercial.
