I’m actually not a big fan of this book. Had it for GDII in college, felt like every time I read something in it, the book was talking down to me. which is ridiculous, it’s a chopped up tree, it has no right to judge

I will start with fiction, I enjoy a lot reading and this are just some of the last I liked

Dirty But Clean Pierre - YOU MUST read him not only because he got an important award from his first book but also because he is one of us, an ex designer and cartoonist who one day started writing

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Torture the artist and Safran Foer’s novels are also very good

I read Vernon God Little and i really had to work hard to get through it. Don’t get me wrong in the end I enjoyed it, i just didn’t think it lived up to all the praise that was heaped on it. And the continual use of the word fricken started to grate a little.

It isn’t THE BOOK is A book, I just pointed out the fact that is interesting for us because it’s written by a designer and he did quite a good job considering the fact that many are nothing else than writers and still not at his caliber
Probably I had a different perspective on it considering I am front he old continent :)

I just had the chance last week to look over it, and t is surprising, I liked the drawings made out of melted chocolate I think, if you can give me the name of the artist I would be grateful, the book wasn’t mine and I forgot the name.
And of the logos collection I have 1 and 3 I missed the 2nd one, but really are great even if on the 3rd one maybe a little bit to much of clipart silhouettes, ribbons and splatters, I expected them to be a little bit ahead and see what is to come :)

    I also love
