thanks man. yeah i am proud of what we accomplished this year, but i won't really be able to feel that for a couple days. LA went out in a similar fashion getting blown out in game 6 last year so i pretty much knew there was no way they would let it happen again. if we can keep our pieces in place and D12 progresses we might make some waves next year again.

To the Kobe Haters.. Look. It's a different day and age then it was then. MJ is amazing there is no doubt about it. During his prime I hated on him because I was a Lakers fan so in my opinion I thought Magic was the best.
No matter which way you look at it even statistically, he is definitely playing like MJ was in his time. They even share the same coach. If anything he is the MJ of our generation but I think that there is way more better players now than there has ever been in the NBA. It's a whole different ball game now and to stand out in this NBA league is a huge accomplishment.
Hate all you want but Kobe is definitely one of the greatest players of all time :)

MJ definitely had help. pippen & grant were fucking bad asses (don't forget horace was on our team for our first finals run), but he still really isn't close to jordan, much less better than jordan.
i don't know how old you are, or when you started really watching basketball, but i saw jordan play hundreds of games and saw him play in person a handful of times, there really is no comparison. im sure one day someone will eclipse his accomplishments, possibly even kobe. he might get there one day, but kobe is nowhere near that level, yet.

Very good comment my friend! And to add to this look at KG. He was dominating sick like in Minnesota but just couldn't finish. He got a good team around him and Won it in Boston.
I really hated last year but he deserved it man.. He finally got what he deserved and no way can one player do it alone!
Even Lakers now, no one on our team is as consistent as Scottie Pippen was long side Jordan. But we definitely have a bunch of guys that get it done. We all need work and it's so hard to stay consistent no matter who is on your team.

I can't argue that Kobe is one of the greatest. However he doesn't touch MJ yet. MJ played against way more talented teams than Kobe. MJ had to play against Utah, Detroit, Milwaukee, Houston, Indiana, New York, Cleveland, LA, Portland and Seattle. I might be making a bold statement but I would say MJ played against more Hall of Fame caliber players and overall better teams than exist in the NBA right now. Just looking at those teams 10-15 years later I can still remember at least 3 or 4 players from each team. MJ kept so many superstar players and amazing teams from winning it all.

That sounded pretty much like you were absolutely 100% sure about it. Really, there is no argument. Kobe is "not right there with him" at all. He is definitely one of the best, maybe top 5-10 of all time, maybe the top 2 guard of all time. But still that doesn't make him anywhere better than MJ overall.

Well it took MJ 7 years to win a championship. So if you're using MJ's championships as a measuring stick, LeBron hasn't played 7 years yet. Not to mention, MJ had an amazing cast around him. Cleveland has a solid bench but they shit the bed in the conference finals. LeBron is an amazing player but that's not enough to win a championship. Cleveland will need a more aggressive center and a bench that comes to play EVERY game.
