credit cards are bad.
I took out a few that I thought were pretty safe looking, took out payment protection aswell incase I was out of work and unable to make payments.
I used the entire amount on them was out of work for 6 months due to illness and payment protection didnt pay me a penny. I am now stupidly over my limit with about £70 interest a month being added.
Avoid them if you can / use wisely.

I usually get my credit cards through my bank and have it set to automatic payments. I have never had to pay interest.
Credit is a great thing but use it wisely.

Amex is good....sometimes vendors are limited that take it...oddly enough....
I think they are a must if you are spending alot...especially on travel....Get the rewards points, and miles!
Get spending statements , and monitor what your business is spending...super easily.
Always pay it off before you accrue interest!
don't over extend....it will end up costing.
we use a Amex business gold rewards...and a Capitol One Visa...just make sure they have your EIN, & DUNS number, and build your business credit up.

What features do you use most? I was looking into their purchase insurance and that seems like something I could use any experience?

I recently opened up a free small business checking account at Washington Mutual (Wamu), and have been totally blown away by how great it is. The service was incredibly personal and human feeling (unlike most other banks I have been to). I have a dedicated person at the branch around the corner who knows me by name. All for free.
Along with the small biz checking account, I got a Visa credit card through Wamu. Super easy to set up as well. I also really like their website for managing the accounts. You can easily get cards for other people in your business.
I have had the account for about 6 weeks and everything so far has really impressed me.

Go VISA, it's pretty much accepted everywhere - and pick your bank wisely - because that's where you can get burned with fees and interest rates.
American Express is so tempting though with their rewards system..I know people who pay for everything with it (groceries, etc) and reap the rewards big time.
