Johnny Cupcakes here. Booya!

Boy oh boy. I’m not a fan of message boards. I think my negativity towards message boards came from my hardcore band roots. They’re usually jam packed with overweight debbie downers who don’t have anything better to do than to sit behind their computers venting away with their keyboards instead of using their time + energy to make moves. There’s nothing wrong with overweight people, I have a small belly with a pair of pre-mature love handles. And negativity isn’t such a bad thing I’ve come to learn. I love hearing what people dislike so I can learn from it. Most people take it the wrong way, but it’s just as better than getting a compliment.

Anyways, I’ve been pointed to this emptees site a handful of times. Whether it be through a customer telling me where they heard about my brand from, various designers + clothing lines hitting me up who are a part of this emptees site, or from google alerts.

I do like how clean this website is. It’s refreshing from all the other typical message boards. It’s nice for other clothing lines to be able to communicate with like minded entrepreneurs. I didn’t have any fun design/entrepreneur message board(s) when I started my brand, so I guess all these new people get a running start having access to said knowledge + communication.

Just like some other message boards, I have told myself I’d stay away. It sucks you in like a Flowbee. I have a hard time signing off of + keeping up with my myspace, this is the last thing I should partake in. However, I get asked some of the same questions by a heaps of people, so perhaps a message board will take care of my junior arthritis development?

    Im not really sure lol, I work for myself pretty much pursuing any ideas that I conjure up...But I also run a print shop and unofficially doing designs for people. Working on making that official and get a real studio off the ground though.
    I pretty much do anything!
