<body>Well it seems to be popular these days...

So I propose an Emptees shape up!

If you are going to commit to actually getting in shape and losing some weight and/or gaining muscle... despite what plan you are doing, because we are all on different paths... even if all you are doing is running or cardio.

-------------------------------

Post in here... what you need to keep track of is...

- plan
- height
- weight
- measurements (only post these if you want, i know its personal)

- # of standard pushups
- # of standard pullups
- # of bicep curls (at a normal weight, not maxing out).
- # of crunches

also good to have.
- resting heart rate
- max heart rate (get this buy doing heavy cardio for at least 5 min).
- how long can you wall squat (back up against a wall, hands at side, in a sitting position)
- toe touch (sit on the ground with legs straight out in front of you, how close or how far past can you reach your toes + or - inches)

-------------------------------

and then at the end of every month, post your progress, with new numbers, pics whatever you want. I highly recommend taking before pictures.</body>

<body>- Starting Strength program for 5 more weeks then I am going to mix in 1-2 hours of cardio everyday. Trying to gain 20 pounds and gain strength, then cut down body fat % later. I am a hard gainer because of my metabolism so it might take awhile to put on that weight.

- 5'10
- 130 lbs.
- don't have any measurements

- er 20? I don't do these much so I don't know
- don't know, once again don't do them yet
- once again under starting strength we don't do bicep curls
- 50? This I do work on, I never tried to max out though.

- resting heart rate: no clue
- max heart rate: a shit ton after sprinting on my bike on and off for two hours, I feel like it is going to explode
- I do actual squats but I never tried this so don't know
- 3.5 inches from reaching my toes

-Deadlifting my bodyweight(130) 1X5, pretty good so far

-Bench press- 3X5 at 70 lbs, want to get to 100 pounds which is probably my max 1 X 1

-Squats-80 to 100 lbs depends on how my legs are feeling that day 3 X 5

Over head press 3 X 5, only 50 pounds (the bar) haha, I have to work on that

Pendaly Rows- 3 X 5 at 80-100 lbs

I have to work on chin ups and dips alot too.</body>

      <body>I'm in!

Plan: Go on a 6 week cut starting June 22 (I'm on vacation in hawaii from the 11th to the 17th, I am no way watching what I eat on vacation, fuck that)
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 172

since I dont know the number of pushups and what not and since I wont be training that way, I'll post my lifting stats as of right now.

These are of 5 reps.

Squat: 185
Bench: 155
Deadlift: 205
Row: 105
Military Press: 95

I hope to keep these numbers throughout my cut since I'll be on a calorie deficit.

I'll definitely post pictures too when I'm done.

Good luck everyone!</body>

<body>plan: To gain like 10kg (22pounds thanks google)
height: 183cm (Around 6 foot)
weight: 77kg (170 pounds)
measurements: No Idea

Does standard number have a time limit or is it just how many you do before being unable to continue?

also good to have.
resting heart rate: 63
max heart rate: Last time I did it, it was around 125/130 I think

how long can you wall squat (back up against a wall, hands at side, in a sitting position) Never tried

toe touch (sit on the ground with legs straight out in front of you, how close or how far past can you reach your toes + or - inches) I can go about an inch past my toes</body>

<body>I'll admit that i only lifted weights twice since this post. But I do have softball twice a week and walk 18 holes of golf every saturday. I wouldn't count that as working out though. I have been keeping up with my 12 ounce curls, which probably isn't much help.</body>

<body>I usually hit the gym 3 times a week but I'm slacking lately because of my day job and freelance

No real training plan but I break up the different muscle groups through the 3 days...
- 6'
- 145

- 70 pushups
- not sure about pullups
- 40 crunches

I need to add cardio but I'm a pretty thin guy, although I need to give my heart more of a workout...</body>
