Thx y’all! We tried to do something different with blocks, to start adding a little variety. So it might not work for every store but now there’s some choice at least.

Maybe you can have the option of putting 4 , 8 ,12 products insted of having all the empty boxs ? just a idea i think it will tidy it up .

if you were able to have bigger boxes and select how many you have up there. like if you had 11 products you can have the 12 box setup
im sure there is a way to mod the css so that the bg of the blank squares match the background or make them transparent. Just make those transparent in your css and it will only show the blocks that have pictures.

i dont know about you guys but i think big cartel are flawless- really- they always answered my questions within hours- helped out- cheap- clean- easy to use. Thank you guys.

Agreed i had a problem with paypal but it was sorted ,,within a couple of hours.
so simple why cant other sites be as easy and simple as this?

realy hard to read white on grey.
I can read it all, although I do agree the "Home, Faq, Contact..etc" could be a touch darker..but all in all it’s looking a lot better than before.
EDIT..just saw what you were talking about..so yeah I have to agree.

I don’t like what the Home page looks like and I would much rather have the product page as the front page.
I’m having some small problems that I can’t seem to get around.
When I change the white background to none it just makes it a dark gray. The other problem is that the price and the title text are set at the same color value. Since the price is on a black background you need to make it white. The problem is that my site background is white so you can’t see the title. This also effects the titles in the FAQ.

your code from the Products page and paste in your Home page.
Just be sure to change it from using products.current to
products.featured for the Home page everywhere you see it mentioned.
You’ll also need to remove the "pagination" part of the code from the
products page. However, if you wanted to see pagination right away,
you could just put a javascript redirect on your home page.

Well matt from Indie labs helped me
it was along the lines
