  <body>God damn that thing. I have just spent the last 4 odd hours trying to find/make/edit code so that it looks like 1.0, with out a big ol' horrible blue bit at the top now.
Finally done it, and my "myspace portfolio" (eurgh) is finally in the process.

      <body>I did prestigious layout in 2.0 and it was easier than I thought. You can refer to things using ID's! Also, you can just turn off modules, and you have the option to specify a width for the layout, etc.

It's just 100% easier to work with. </body>

that sounds sweet, I'm gonna have to mess around with it. I'm never going to be able to use it though, only bands hire me, and bands pages are still the older profile.</body>

They'll probably move the band profiles to 2.0 pretty soon, they just wanted to test it out on normal profiles first.</body>

Yeah, that happened with us. We will be designing for their standard widths in the future though, so it should be pretty straightforward now that we know what we're doing.</body>

It's the code that makes room for the top header.

For me, it's something like
body.Bodycontent div {margin-top:1000px;}

So there's a div on the bottom that is affected by this while almost everything else is not.</body>

It's the code that makes room for the top header.

For me, it's something like
body.Bodycontent div {margin-top:1000px;}

So there's a div on the bottom that is affected by this while almost everything else is not.&lt;/blockquote&gt;

Cheers, i think i have it "fingers crossed"</body>

      <body>I have now noticed this in IE

&lt;img src="http://i668.photobucket.com/albums/vv43/Callumgreenwins/Untitled12.jpg" /&gt;

The message and portfolio images have been shrunk, making the images not fit in the table.

Anyone know why?</body>

      <body>If you're using myspace 2.0 I don't really see any reason to be pushing the top down like that. I turned off all my modules besides 'about' 'friendspace' and 'comments' and I adjusted the height of the about module to fit all of my content.

You just turn off the headings for blurbs and about me, and make sure the borders are off.</body>

Oh, haha. There might be a code that forces margins or padding on linked imgs, idk. You may want to add some css that forces all tables, tds, trs, links, and imgs to no border, padding, spacing, margins, etc</body>

      <body>I spent the good part of last Friday pulling apart Myspace 2.0 and once you get the hang on it its much easier.

I am thinking of making up a site dedicated to designing and coding music and personal Myspaces with videos, templates, tips, tricks and such.

Would everybody be keen for a site that? Been thinking about it for a while.

Would also be able to potentially link, upload and discuss your profile designs a la emptees.</body>

If you're keen on developing this, I'm not using it right now.. But I planned on making it a myspace 2.0 resource.. Or just a myspace resource without the bullshit and hidden link backs embedded in the codes etc.

      <body>Ok I spent all day yesterday messing with 2.0 . . . but now I've reached the point where I have no why the gap on my top content and where it becomes 2 columns is bigger on FF, Safari, and Chrome than it is on IE. On IE the gap is very small, but if if the positioning CSS so the gap is less in the other browsers the two sections overlap in IE. </body>

Something like this could really take off imo, just somewhere that looks trustworthy and where you know the info you're getting is correct would be awesome.</body>
