ah yeah. They're probably one of my favorite bands at the moment. Haven't bought the whole album yet though, i've just acquired the majority of it from blogs and itunes.
I'm bummed that their LA show is sold out. I really wanted to see them live.
oh yeah! we saw them on SNL last night and like them a lot. I liked their style too, the singer was dressed like the asshole rich kid from an 80's movie or Talking Heads or something. I didn't like their second song as much though, but I'm glad they played another.

I just looked up that both SF shows are sold out. I am bummed now too. Although I feel like the venue would be swamped with hipsters.

Yeah probably. They're playing Coachella too. But of course their set is on that Friday and i have school. Sucksss.
I'm bummed. They were actually supposed to open up for the Walkmen at my family's venue on this past Saturday, but they cancelled on us at the last minute to be on SNL. Who could blame them though? It's all good though, they rescheduled for June and they'll probably be even bigger by then.
i havent heard the record but they look like a new talking heads, into world music, a bunch of nerdy white kids who all went to music and/or art school. that being said i should probably go download it.

Been listening to the album for a few weeks now. It reminds me of the first 2 Police albums or late Kinks. Good stuff.

It's pretty good - I think they're kind of beatlish/policeish. That's who they remind me of anyway.

I downloaded 4 songs from them at http://daytrotter.com/ a while back. You can probably still find them on the site, but I didn't check.
