I put a tee up 2 days a go at www.cameesa.com and it's an amazing place. Basically people support your art until enough people have supported to print the tee. It's a concept I was not totally convinced by, but now I have taken part I am impressed. Jimiyo and others are on there. Go support an artist, it feels good. The cool thing that I didn't know until a week or so ago is that you can support multiple artists with just one donation. So if you only have $10 to "invest" but love all 5 designs up there, you can put up the money...and if ANY of those designs get chosen for print, your money gets put into that design. Can you then sell those 50 tees yourself? to recoup your initial $500 / $300, or profit? ...of course you can....but I mean without it being frowned upon....like in your own site. Also I noticed that the designs stall near the top of the support scale, around the 300-400 mark, with many a shirt in the running, people may have second thoughts about wanting the shirt at the top of the highest supports, It would be a good idea to support the shirt yourself and push it to the full $500 so it get's printed, also even with shirts that you are not 100% on the residuels add up really well, I've gotten a few bucks extra already just from the shirts I supported. One more thing Cameesa takes paypal now.
