<body>when choosing the TOTD, i'm just wondering if there's any distinction between those that are up for sale already vs those that are just mock-ups?

out of the prev 20 winners, there seem to be only 3x actually produced and up for sale :(

i'm all for great design, but obviously there's a 1,000,000 times more work and effort involved in actually producing a shirt (especially if you're doing it yourself - i.e. not via someone else like threadless or DBH)... and it would be really nice to make that distinction IMHO

what does everyone else think?</body>

<body>t of the day is about design, i do not think its 1000000 more work to print something, i actually think thats the easiest part, email jimmy or american icon or one of the other dozens of pirnters plugged on emptees, paypal them a couple hundred bucks and done. but designing is what tee of the day is all about.

and 9 of the past 12 designs are from a competition were having on here, so they couldnt get them printed within a week(well ONE person could!)

<body>I think it's way harder to design a shirt than it is to print it. Sure, printing is definitely an art in itself, but it's still more difficult to design a great shirt than it is to print it.</body>

Ditto! This is a design site..not a printing site. Now even though we may post it before its printed doesn't mean its not going to be printed and that we don't know how to print it!

All the well designers on here know how to prepare the file for print....either/or know the right hands( printer) to hand it to take make our works come to life!</body>
