Great fit, nice soft material, made in the USA, sizing is consistent, etc.

I really like this tee I got from Spain, but I got it at a street vendor and it had a custom tag, so I have no idea what the brand name is. They fit like AA almost, but shorter.

I wonder where I can track an AA 2001 down...I want to see what all the fuss is about.

I’m in Dubai at the moment, then heading to Thailand for a month, then to Australia....but I doubt I’ll be able to find one in any of those countries!

Seriously, what’s so good about the AA 2001....surely there’s a thousand worthy contenders, like alternative apparel and Alstyle?

Not to mention printers consider it HANDS DOWN the best shirt to print on.

If you want one order from almost any brand on this site.

Yeah, Tultex are nice-- they have a good feel. The advantage of AA is the consistency of the sizing. I have medium Tultex shirts that fit like larges, and others that fit like small. Every once in a while you’ll luck out and get one that fits just right, but to me, it’s not worth the risk.

all i get NONSTOP is people saying how my shirts are the most comfortable and best fitting shirt they own, and thus it gets me return customers guaranteed.

if you print on lesser quality shirts, sure its cheaper for you upfront but once they start falling apart, people remember these things.

i honestly don’t really care for the super soft thin shirts. i prefer a medium weight, crisp shirt, with a solid neck. Gildan Ultra Cotton is a little too crusty for me but the Ultra Blends are a great balance. oh and they cost like $2.

AA are definitely soldin Australia man! but i feel their neck is too tight. "as colour" tees do the job for me...

Exactly how I feel about shirts. My favorite shirt I ever owned was a russel athletic shirt from the good will like 7 years ago. Felt almost in between a sweatshirt and a tshirt.

Definitely using AS Colour next time it’s about as good as AA in my opinion.

    As Colour 5002/5006

I have a few of these and they’re a gorgeous fit. Australian made, softer than AA (as far as I’m concerned), and some awesome colours. I have 3 of the dark grey marble shirts and wear them as soon as they’re out of the wash.

This is awesome, I had no idea opinions were so mixed.

I guess everyone has their favourite blank tee brand....part of it seems to be associated with brand loyalty too don’t you think. It seems that a lot of graphic designers like AA tees by default, the same as they like Apples versus PCs (maybe it’s the whole Helvetica logo thing they have in common!). Personally, I agree that the neck is a little bit narrow...I like to breathe.

I’m really keen on creating a proper online poll so that you guys can all lodge a proper vote for your favorite blank tshirts, and then we can tally up the results and see which tee has world domination!

Will you guys object if I create a proper poll on my Tshirt Alert Facebook pagey-thing and post the link to the poll here? (or will that be considered spam....I’m wary now....cos I know a few of the peeps here like to hunt down spammers and kidnap their first-born children)

Really, we all have our favourites but no one is going to take a poll. Just saying.

AS Color looks pretty nice though. Jahl; if you print on them next run, I might buy just to see the shirt quality.
