    Which ever you want. In fact you can just create a die line in illustrator and send us over what ever template you create.

    No worries, I mean I didn’t pay for anything so I have no right to be mad about it but I was looking to get buttons made at the time and went with another company because of it. But I will definitely shoot an email about this and hopefully we can sort something out!

     We can do this. However, we won’t be able to use our digital cutter to do the complete die cut. We could do this as a kiss cut which when your sticker was applied would give the impression that your stickers are completely die cut. We’re in the process of shooting a video of how we cut. I’m hoping to have that online tomorrow.

     They are water proof. We use a matte material so there isn’t a big gloss. (which is nice) They will fade outdoors after 2 years. However, I’ve had a logo sticker on my car for about 8 months now and no sign of wear. I’ll get a photo of it today it’s got ice and everything on itl

     Some we weren’t able to get die cut correctly so we just put them through as kiss cuts. We didn’t want to modify the file. If you are interested I can waive the art time.

     We don’t print in sheets. We print on rolls. We only use our digital plotter to cut custom die cuts. However, we have 18 standard dies that we use for kiss cuts and our standard sticker size runs. We use this method to insure registration. Most runs we do we can get 3 - 4 sheets up to die cut. Making the process much faster. For perfect registration you need a gripper and a side guide. With us manually trimming down our sheets this method allows us to fly through the process. It doesn’t take anywhere the time you think it does :)

     Interesting, and thanks for the answer. I was looking into buying a printer plotter combo, so I was just wondering, I do screenprinted stickers in sheets as well so it just looked like tedious work, but your stickers look like they are coming out great. Do you guys run a white to print on clear vinyl? Anyhow, we decided against buying it, because for us the cost outweighed what we could make with it since we also do screenprinting. Like your work though, looks awesome and a great promotion

     the numbers are correct. the obvious reason is that you guys charge $180 on that order for "laminate" to make the stickers last 3-5 years outdoors. where with sticker robot that is standard on all stickers, they don’t even make them without it.

     i feel like you guys are trying to get it right, i just cant figure out why that costs so much more with you.

     Also, Sticker Robot’s stickers are Screen Printed, how are yours printed? i can’t find it on your site.

     Correct StickeRobot’s are screen printed. However, we are using a high end printer that makes our stickers durable outdoors as well too! I believe our vinyl is thicker then theirs as well.

     Yeah, i have a digitally printed vinyl sticker (printed and cut it myself on a Roland) and stuck it on my bike about a year ago. Still looking good and i use my bike every day. I have no problems with it

     We currently are using an 8 mil vinyl. which doesn’t have a laminate on it. These will last about 4 years outdoors without fading.

     We are looking at offering a 3mil with a 2mil laminate for no additional cost. Do you think this would be something you’d be interested in? Let me send you some samples of your art and you can be the judge..

     It really does last 4 years however, just for our own protection on the site we say standard lasts up to 2 years outdoors. You’ll need to send me some sample art for you to test out with us. I can promise you that you’ll be happy with the end product.

     The material we’ve been using the past 3 months has been the 8mil vinyl. We were using a 3mil w/ 3mil laminate. However, we no longer are. All of the emptees sample jobs and production jobs have been ran with our 8 mil vinyl without lamination.

     its not about being worth a shot. even if your lamination came free and the price was exactly the same i would still prefer to wait an extra 1-3 weeks for screen printed stickers.

     i can’t help but think laminated stickers might de-laminate over time.

     also, i want all of my stickers with a back print so i can put all the specific URL, contact, blah blah stuff that i don’t want to put on the sticker itself. they only charge $15 for the entire order. do you guys offer back printing?

     I agree with this to a certain extent. It is pretty frustrating to see replies here and not responses to emails. I know I only had a $50 add on but I would still like to feel valued as a customer. But from the photos you guys have posted it looks like the quality of the stickers could be worth a little extra than other companies.

     I’ll have to agree, but another note, I got mine in today, they are great quality, print is superb, and the thickness of vinyl is great!      It’s been said for a thousand times but i had to mention this and it may sound like some asskissing: This is a great promotion and they’re doing a hell of a job, replying to everybody, to each and every post whilst maintaining their professionalism.      I think that what you guys are doing is a great way to promote yourselves and get future clients headed in your direction. Regardless of what your prices are as opposed to other sticker companies, giving someone the opportunity to test out your product is something that no one else has done yet (that I know of) especially when a client can test out your product with their own artwork/potential order. People might say that Sticker Robots prices are better but when it comes to customer service, they’re just that - ROBOTS. I’ve used them before and no one has ever taken the time to send me an email thanking me for using their company or has kept me in the loop as to what the status of my order was. There is no sense of relationship between the customer and an actual representative with sticker robot. To me, knowing the person thats dealing with my orders and being able to talk to them about it and ask questions is more important then uploading my artwork, hoping that what I uploaded comes back the way I wanted it in 2-4 weeks. At the end of the day, you can pay a cheaper price for the same thing at another company, but what happens when one day you don’t get what you ordered and you try your best to get in contact with someone who’s going to take days to get back to you? Then when they finally do, they don’t even know who the hell you are and see you as just another person who paid for something rather then a loyal client. I’d prefer to pay more money to someone who’s going to appreciate my business with them and give me feedback/compliments regarding my artwork (like Standout did) then to work with an online interface. Anyhow, I just want to say that Stand Out Stickers has definitely won me over as a client. I appreciate everything you guys are doing for the design community, and I appreciate the way you guys handle business. Cant wait to get the stickers I ordered!

     i do not know your experiences, but in my multiple dealings with Sticker Robot they had great customer service and answered all my questions super fast.

     As a matter of fact on my last order they missed the print deadline by a day so since my order took an extra couple days they DOUBLED it for free. If that is not good customer service i don’t know what is.

     Thats understandable. My experience with Sticker Robot has been a shitty one. I’ve ordered with them about 3 times and 2/3 of those times I was unhappy with what I received, and I was never compensated for my losses when I sent them emails regarding the situation. First time I let it slide, second time the service was ok, and the third time it happened again. Im sure your position in the design community might have had something to do with the fact that they doubled your order because to me that just sounds unheard of, especially if they had time to double it in a couple of days when their turnaround time is 2-4 weeks. It may or may not have just been me that has had a shitty experience with Sticker Robot but ultimately my decision was made to never work with the company again.
     

     
     I respect that you prefer to work with Sticker Robot but pointing out flaws in other companies on a public thread just for the sake of argument (or bias opinions) is a bit much. Your work is stellar and I just don’t see why you want to argue back and forth with people who are posting. Negative feedback from anyone on a thread similar to this one will deter prospective clients from even giving Stand Out a shot, regardless of whether or not you can get stickers cheaper elsewhere. Thats just how business goes. If someone prefers Sticker Robot, thats great use them. If you prefer another sticker company, thats great too. I don’t go and slap a Pepsi bottle out of someones hand because I prefer Coke, essentially thats what your doing.

People might say that Sticker Robots prices are better but when it comes to customer service, they’re just that - ROBOTS. I’ve used them before and no one has ever taken the time to send me an email thanking me for using their company or has kept me in the loop as to what the status of my order was. There is no sense of relationship between the customer and an actual representative with sticker robot. To me, knowing the person thats dealing with my orders and being able to talk to them about it and ask questions is more important then uploading my artwork, hoping that what I uploaded comes back the way I wanted it in 2-4 weeks. At the end of the day, you can pay a cheaper price for the same thing at another company, but what happens when one day you don’t get what you ordered and you try your best to get in contact with someone who’s going to take days to get back to you? Then when they finally do, they don’t even know who the hell you are and see you as just another person who paid for something rather then a loyal client. I’d prefer to pay more money to someone who’s going to appreciate my business with them and give me feedback/compliments regarding my artwork (like Standout did) then to work with an online interface. Anyhow, I just want to say that Stand Out Stickers has definitely won me over as a client. I appreciate everything you guys are doing for the design community, and I appreciate the way you guys handle business. Cant wait to get the stickers I ordered!

     I definitely understand where you are coming from, and its true, healthy competition between companies does indeed drive down costs for everyone. Its nothing personal towards you or Sticker Robot. Its just that as a business owner, it actually cost me more money to re order my stickers and shop around for another sticker producer. That particular experience with SR cost me close to $900 after the multiple re-orders so Im sure you can understand my frustration. Either way, the quality of the actual sticker was superb, it was just a matter of "off-color" artwork.

     Both companies are extremely legitimate. I just hope that everyone can go to either one and not have any problems as we did because stickers in general are one of the most expensive yet essential things that a company needs as far as marketing and promotion goes. Apologies if I might have been rude or offensive to anyone.

     Give us a shot. It’s not like it’s going to cost you anything. Can’t complain about that.. I’ll give you an un-laminted product just so you can compare the price point comparison. You’ll be surprised about the durability of the un-laminated product. Overall I’m sure you’ll be impressed. The vinyl of the sticker is more then double the thickness of Sticker Robot therefore making the product feel higher quality. Being printed digitally gives us the opportunity to offer quick turnarounds at an affordable rate.

     I’ve personally ordered from numerous sticker companies before for PureButtons (our other company) and haven’t been impressed with turnaround and or quality. Again, I can assure you that you’ll be impressed with our stickers.

     Just give us a shot, we’re giving you the opportunity to try us for FREE and printing your artwork. If you don’t like us, continue to use Sticker Robot.

     I got mine yesterday and they are sweet for sure!! I put one on my car this morning and it rained all day but the sticker didn’t get affected at all (i know it’s just 1 day, but i felt like mentioning that part ha). Awesome quality!! I’ll definitely hit you guys up in the future!

     At the beginning of the promotion we had some issues with our digital cutter not properly doing die cuts. So, to keep things moving we still processed the runs as kiss cuts (which when applied appear as if they were die cut). However, we’ve got this issue fixed and are cranking these jobs out.

     Have waited over a month for these. I know that they are free and I am grateful, and realistic but I have kept my side of the bargain and also promoted PUREBUTTONS quite a few times as well on my blog, Facebook, Twitter etc.

I mailed in the info the end of January, and Jeff sent me a note saying they were behind and would send out the order around the 15th of Feb.      I just duplicated a layer of my design and put a stroke around it, merged it into a blank layer so it was flat and labeled it as a "die-cut shape" layer underneath my actual artwork and my stickers game out fine. And I like the purple one better.

     I don’t know, I just want to know why they always respond to to me that I should be getting them the following week and 3 months have passed and I have yet to see anything O_o(it’s been about 2-3 weeks since they last responded). This just seems really weird to me. Especially when you consider that there are a lot of other people who received the stickers with no problems.
