I've been using linkedin for a while now and have made some killer networking connections. some killer artists on here.....and there are some really some big art needs in the corporate world. I guess it's a different client base. I just see a lot of artists on here hustling for the local/small band scene for smaller budgets.... and getting into a design loop...while fun...really limited to what the bands budgets are. where the corporate market price for some of this same art is way past the typical $250-$500 range most people charge. especially when you get into promotional stuff, ads, and product design....we're really talking $2-3K per illustration.
