I’ve been a member for 6 months, and in that time I’ve managed to submit 0 tee designs, find 83 tees I love, contribute 0 resources, create 2 blog posts, and leave 53 comments.

Sup everybody!! I'm one of the co-founders of DesiredHearts.com, a new voting based site that is in the process of launching. We know we aren't the first site where the members decide what goes to print, but we are the first to have a user created clothing line. We're starting out with t-shirts, and as sales increase we will start producing custom designed garments of all types.

The details: Each winning designer is awarded $500 cash, $3 per shirt, and $2 per sale will go to a charity of the customer's choice. With every submission, the designer can choose to give all or part of their cut to charity. So it's possible that each shirt could give up to $5 to charity. Pretty sweet. We have to start with small print runs of around 150-300, but it will grow over time so you can make quite a bit more $. If you do the math, it's up to $1,400 for you and $600 for charity for a sold out design! We think it's a good idea.

There are no limitations on what you can submit. We can print just about any style with any ink. All over prints need to be 1-2 colors, but everything else can be up to 8 spot colors. We can also do four color process prints.

Our site is live, but we are still ironing out some tech issues on the shopping cart. We should have it fixed in a day or two. We need submissions for the first round of voting. We will be announcing an end date for those submissions in the next couple of days.

To submit designs just go to the site and create a proflile, and get after it.

We are super excited to share some really kick ass art on some kick ass clothes with some kick ass people.
